Monica Zuercher is an Assistant Project Researcher at the Nutrition Policy Institute. She has with experience in teaching, health research, data analysis, scientific communication, and nutritional interventions. Her research interest includes nutrition, disease prevention, health disparities and nutritional programs/policies. Dr. Zuercher earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Sonora in Mexico, a master’s degree in Nutritional Epidemiology from the Research Center for Food and Development in Sonora, Mexico, and doctoral degree in Epidemiology from UC Davis.
