Measuring childhood obesity prevention policies and practices using self-report from key informants in diverse settings

The National Collaboration on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR) released the third and final white paper based on a series of workshops on advancing measurement for childhood obesity. The white paper, titled “Advancing Measurement of Environmental and Policy Influences on Childhood Obesity,” describes the workshop held on February 27–28, 2020. The workshop featured Lorrene Ritchie, director and cooperative extension specialist of the Nutrition Policy Institute, who spoke on how to use self-report from key informants in diverse settings to measure childhood obesity prevention policies and practices. The white paper, featuring a summary of Ritchie's workshop presentation, and an accompanying executive summary are available online.
